Founded in 2023 by builder and designer Joshua Bernhardt, Wonder Based Design is built on one simple belief: you should love the space you’re already in — no matter its size or constraints.

Joshua specializes in custom, problem-solving design, creating cabinetry and built-ins that feel intentional, seamless, and made for the way you actually live. Living in a townhome himself, he understands firsthand that limited square footage doesn’t limit possibility — it demands smarter design.
