Founded by designer and craftsman Joshua Bernhardt, Wonder Based Design is built on the belief that exceptional spaces deserve exceptional craftsmanship.

Specializing in custom cabinetry and architectural built-ins, Joshua combines thoughtful design, quality materials, and meticulous attention to detail to create pieces that are as functional as they are beautiful. From distinctive kitchens and sophisticated living spaces to custom closets and one-of-a-kind installations, every project is designed to complement its surroundings and reflect the people who live there.

With a passion for creative problem-solving and an appreciation for timeless design, Joshua approaches each project as an opportunity to create something truly unique. Working closely with homeowners, designers, and builders, he brings together vision, functionality, and craftsmanship to deliver results that feel intentional, cohesive, and enduring.

At Wonder Based Design, the goal is simple: to create beautifully considered spaces through custom craftsmanship — pieces that feel like a natural extension of the home and are built to be enjoyed for generations.
